Trinity Healthcare Centre

Driving Medical

If you’ve received a letter from Transport for NSW requesting a Fitness to Drive medical assessment, it’s important to complete it within the timeframe provided—usually around 8 weeks. These assessments are designed to ensure that you’re medically fit to drive, keeping both you and others safe on the road. The letter will outline the specific types of medical professionals you may need to see, depending on your health conditions.

At Trinity Healthcare Centre, our experienced GPs can carry out the medical checks required for your fitness to drive assessment. We can also coordinate referrals to other specialists or allied health professionals if additional input is needed.

If you’ve received a letter and are unsure about the next steps, or would like to book your assessment, feel free to give us a call on (02) 9822 7107. We’re here to help make the process as smooth as possible.
