What should I do after a workplace injury?
If you’ve been injured on the job, it’s important to notify your employer and seek medical attention as soon as possible. Your doctor can issue a WorkCover certificate and provide advice on managing your injury.
Once your claim is submitted, your insurer will assign you a claim number and case manager. Be sure to bring these details with you to your appointment. Please note, you may be charged for the initial consultation, but once your claim is approved, your insurer will reimburse you.
